I have grown tired of sifting through the ".nmap" output from the popular nmap scanner in a plain text editor. The output, especially when more features are employed during scans (such as aggressive mode), becomes overwhelming. I thought syntax highlighting might be a good idea, and I'm an Emacs user. So, I present j-nmap-mode.el.
